A taste of Italy is brought to the Mahoning Valley with an establishment that is the true definition of a family-owned business. A dough recipe & a strong dedication to the best service has given Cocca's a loyal customer following. The creation of Cocca's Pizza by Nick & Tina Cocca is a beautiful story that can be told with passion & inspiration.
Nick came to America when he was fourteen. he was originally in the baking business, but always aspired to be self-employed. With a talent for building, he started his own construction company. During a Christmas trip to Italy, Nick and Tina met and quickly fell in love. They eventually married and returned to America to start their new life together. They raised 4 children, Maria, Arcangela (Angel), Donato (Danny), and Stefano (Steve) & now have 10 grandchildren. In 1982 following their passion and business sense they opened their first pizza shop at 7185 Market Street, Boardman.
The building was built almost entirely by Nick. The recipes are all passed down from family. For many years the Cocca family were the only employees, working very hard to make the business successful. Steve has followed his father's footsteps by carrying on the business. He passionately oversees the entire operation, making important decisions on a daily basis.
"The strong foundation of a close family has been the recipe for success." Mrs. Cocca is still in the kitchen making the meatballs & overseeing any new product launch.
The Cocca's would like to give a special Thank You to their loyal customers & friends that through the years have made Cocca's pizza what it is today.
